my hair is curly after washing it, but when i comb it, it pouffes out, the curls are gone and it looks like a broom; i can't use a leave-in conditionner because i have oily roots (but it would be good 4 the dry ends though). i wanna have shiny curls and no rebel hair! pls tell me, what product/easy-to-prepare naturist stuff can i use?

Yours sounds like mine! Here's what I do:
Get out of shower, run brush through. Flip hair upside down, and start scrunching it. Grabbing sections at a time, and crunching it up into a little ball. Then I put gel through it.
Naturist gel? hmmm....well? I think Alterna is all natural products. But I use Biolage Gelee. Works the best for my hair...

Wash your hair at night. In the morning your hair should still be a bit damp. Turn your head up side down and put water in your hand and scrunch it all over. turn your head to the side and repeat, flip your hair back and wet the top. Then use gel in the same steps as the water. Then hairspray in the same steps as the water. grab a towel and scrunch the ends so that your hair stops dripping wet. It will dry and your curls will not frizz but they wont necessarily be shiny either.

My stepdaughter has the same problem. We brush it when it is wet and use frizz ease.

See, what you don't want to do is comb it after showering. I flip my head upside down and run my fingers through it and scrunch it. Then I take my towel and squeeze the excess water out and scrunch at the same time. You have to get the dampness just right, so it will take some practicing. I found the best gel to give my hair curl without crunch is the LA Looks blue gel for 'curls'. It's taken me some practice to get the amount just right, but now it;s like second nature. You'll have to play around with it some.

I struggled with my naturally curly hair for many years before I learned how to work with it.
I use Garnier Fructis Hard Curl gel on my damp hair. Depending on your hair's length, use plenty of gel to coat all of your hair. Mine is shoulder length and I use about 2 palms full of gel. Distribute the gel with a comb and then spray hair with hairspray. I use Dove Extra Hold Flexible.
Blow dry using a diffuser (it doesn't friz out the curls). Turn your head upside down to blowdry the top of your head. Scrunch your hair a little as you blow dry to make the curls springy. Once dry ( takes me about 10 minutes) spray with hairspray again to hold.
Although I use a lot of product, once my hair is dry it is not crunchy or stiff.
After you style your hair, try not to touch your curls as much as you can. Touching them separates the curls and creates frizz.
Also, make sure you have a good cut. Long layers work best.

I have long curly hair and I tried some home remedies. Here are a few.... For dry or damage hair mix lemon juice, mayo, and some guacamole. Mix it together and spread evenly over hair and massage in scalp.. Then wrap your hair in saran wrap. It is extremely gross and stinks but it puts shine, bounce and managability back into your hair. It also keeps the frizz down. You will have to wait about 2 hours before taking it out. I also have frizz eaze at home for the days I donot want to put all of that junk in my hair. Make sure that u trim your hair every 6-8 weeks. It will help with managing your curls and makes them look fresh. the frizz eaze works really great and doesnt make your hair stiff or go and get a vitamin capsule for your hair...... it is wonderful. They are both located at walmart.

This i swear by.......go to the Health Food store and buy pure JoJoba Oil. Mix this with half water, put in spray bottle and when hair is damp, spray generously all over. I noticed most all conditioners have this ingredient, so i decided to try it alone. It has transformed my hair. But you have to use it religiously. Hope this works
