I have naturally curly hair, please help?

My hair looks sort of like this, except not quite so poofy:

I want it to have more defined curls, be less poofy and less frizzy. Any suggestions?

Use a large barrel curling iron.or you can perm it and use a curling product.after you wash and condition your hair use a leave in conditioner or frizz ease type stuff and use a non drying (no alcohol) gel.

my hair is naturally very curly too, so i know how you feel. mine used to be really frizzy, but it's settled down quite a bit. i recommend using Garnier Fructis. use the shampoo, conditioner, and then use some of the smoothing milk after a shower. comb it through your hair. and i dont use a hairdryer, cuz that just makes my hair dry, so just let it dry naturally. hope this helps! :)

wow wuts rele wierd is a couple of days ago i was thinking the same thing and saw all the same pics haha but wut i would suggest is wash with an aussi moisturizing shampoo and condition with Frizz Ease curl around (condition everyday though) when your hair is wet i suggest putting in Paul Mitchell round about in you hair with also garnier soft curl creme (comes in a circular container) mix the two and put in your hair then comb to distribute evenly part it where you want it then scrunch your hair is now going to be huge so take a little more of both products and pull your hair towards you shoulders (down) until it look tamed enough for you then if you want to spray a little hairspray in it and you are good to go but as you go through the day... DONT TOUCH IT AND PLAY WITH IT!! IT WILL FRIZZ! ok well hope i helped =]

i have the same kind of hair. i use frizz ease and zero frizz products and my hair responds very well to both of these products. of course my hair behaves much more nicely on clear days like today. if it is humid you may as well forget it! but recently i got layers and i love it! good luck.

my hair is curly as well . I have use from cheap to super expensive mouse. The best one is the herbal essence. It doesnt weigh down and makes my hair look good. Try It bet you would like.. Ps i have try all the ones people have suggest.. Also put on when its wet and let it dry naturally

try some sort of curl-defining spray because it defines curls and males it less frizzy, which in turn should make it less poofy. try john freida or pantene pro-v

I have curly hair too, try doing this,

take a shower the night before, only use conditioner, leave in for as long as possible. Then, once you get out detangle with your fingers. Put some leave in conditioner of mousse in your hair (it should still be really wet). pull into a pony tail, it should dry a little like this. I usually leave it like this until i am ready to go to bed. Once you are ready for bed, take out the ponytail and losen it a bit, then put it in a bun and sleep on it. Once you wake up, it should be damp. lossen it a bit again and Voila!
