Making my curly hair wavy?

My hairs length is past my shoulders and it is very thin. Its also very curly, almost like ringlets. My problem is, I think I look terrible without the side swept bangs I have now, but I have to straighten them after every shower because they dont look good curly. I have a round face (im not overweight).

Can anyone suggest a hairstyle or possibly even a hair product that can weigh down my curls? Please and thank you.

Curls are beautiful! Don't fry it by straightening! To weigh it down and relax the curl a little, leave in a little of your regular conditioner. You can mix a little of your conditioner with whatever gel or other product you use. Or you can also use a straightening balm to release some of the curl and get a more wavy texture. Check out the message boards at www.naturallycurly.com for more tips! Curls rule! :-)

you need a chemical hair straightener....thats all no biggy!

if you have fine hair then its lack of weight is making your hair curl

you could get your hair chemically relaxed - ask the stylst to use perm lotion not straightening lotion as straightening cream is a lot harsher on your hair and you only want to relax the curl not make it dead straight
