Curly hair drama lolz!!!!!??? help!!?

Why do you want to straighten it? You should appreciate your curls and it's more interesting than straight hair. Just try what I told you before about using some curl cream and letting it dry naturally - I think you're the same person? Using heated products damages your hair anyway.

Curly hair drama lolz!!!!!??? help!!?

Alright...I think that alot of products sold in stores are bad for hair health...but here goes:

...I have curly, long hair that knots badly when I wash it...but when I wanted a curly look I would...

...wash and condition hair in shower (use like V05 or suave conditioner to comb hair out in shower while it is soaking wet with a big tooth comb...not a skinny one you would normally use)...rinse hair and don't use towel to dry hair...while it is still soaking wet put a bunch of mousse and gel (like LA Looks) into your hair and let it air dry...this formula made my hair look nice all day...you should be straightening and combing hair at the same time...

...Now for straightening hair use a quality shampoo and condiitoner...use a leave in condiitoner and a heat protectant...blow dry hair in small sections (b/c if you do a nice enough blow dry job then you won't have to press the hell out of your hair)...next take small sections of hair and you can do this w/ a curling iron it may take longer though...put your hair in the iron like you are going to make a flip curl but put the iron at the root of your hair not the end...and drag the iron down to the middle of your hair...then take a skinny comb and comb the hair out first then repeat the process with the comb under the iron (comb the piece of hair and also have the hair in the iron do the comb can straghten the hair as the iron applies heat to it...this gives you a silkyy straightening job)...

Curly hair drama lolz!!!!!??? help!!?

use a straightening balm along with a ceramic straightener, and to minimize hair damage, use a repairing shampoo and conditioner ;]

good luck

Curly hair drama lolz!!!!!??? help!!?

Here are some steps:

1. Wash and condition your hair with an anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner.

2. Towel dry hair and apply a heat protecting spray.

3. Apply some sort of straighting mouse/gel/cream. Work through the hair with a wide-tooth comb.

3. If your hair is medium length/short use a round brush to blowdry. If your hair is long you may prefer to use a paddle brush.

4. So, blowdry the hair with either a round brush or a paddle brush.

5. Finish with a spray of hairspray.

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

how have u got ur hair chemically straightened ?

i wanna do it !

^_^

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

Hiya if u go in the shower or bath and then put it in a fench plait while it is wet after a few hours take it out and it SHOULD be wavy/curly and you don't have to put chemicals on it. Hope ive helped.

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

pls let on how to get it chemically straightened, i hate my curly hair =(

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

Have you tried applying some mousse, scrunching your hair and drying it with your head upside down whilst continuously scrunching. That will at least make it wavy.

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

Air dry or blow dry your hair with a scrunching motion using the palms of your hand.

Squeezing it this way causes soft curls, looks great.

Use any settting lotion first then spray lighlty with a non-aerosol hairpray to hold.

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

I have naturally curly hair too, and to keep the spiral curls, I swear by Infusium's leave in conditioner. I just wash my hair with shampoo, rinse, and apply the leave in conditioner, when it dries, it gives my hair the springy curls, and leaves it looking really healthy. My hair grows faster too. How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

if u got it chemically straightened doesn't that mean its permanent? if so you will have to wait til it grows out and then you can cut off the straightened ends... that would take a hell of a long time... but in the meantime you can just curl ur hair using curling tongs or rollers, but then itll be quite damaged ...just stick with the straight hair for now... or u can ask ur hairdresser if u can perm it? or reverse the straightening process if that is actually possible...

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

Try cutting it in layers, after washing try curling products. I use KMS curl up, its a CREAM, I mix it with some conditioner, flip my head upside down, or to the side, and put the mixture in, i scrunch up and let dry. Sometimes i use a hair dryer with a diffuser on it, and blow dry while scrunching at the same time. The scrunching is key. It works very well for me. Good luck.

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

chemically straighening your hair can really damage it i have the same type of hair and i wanted that but my mom had it done and her hair was ruined. you might have to grow your hair out and then chop off the part you got straighened.

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

just ask your hairdresser how to wash it out or use Garnier Fructis Curling Products

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

use Pantene shampoo for curly hairs.even if your hair are straight it makes them curly.try it

How can my hair be curly again without doing much???

The texture of our hair changes as we get older. As the pores become smaller the hair shaft becomes smaller in diameter and we lose alot of oils as well. Grey hair is lacking pigment and has a wiry text due to the cuticle laying completely flat one on top of the other. The pores may have changed shape due to hormonal changes, childbirth or just natural progression. A change in pore shape means a change in hair shaft shape.

I would say your best bet is to get a perm and make sure you get it from someone you trust and you've seen their work.

My mother gave me a "Toni" (anyone remember THOSE?) perm back in the early 80's and I had to start a new school with what could only be described as a scouring pad on my head.

Don't make that same mistake or you will be very unsatisfied.

Good luck.

To those who asked how to get their hair chemically straightened; read on. If your hair is caucasian type and a different texture from African and Caribbean types, there are two methods and the chemicals are different.

For "white" hair - it is straightened by using varying strengths of perming solution whilst constantly combing the hair to loosen the curls. Then the steps of rinsing and neutralising are applied. Just like in perming but instead of wrapping the hair around rods to create a curl, the hair is pulled straight and the solution breaks the molecular bonds and the neutraliser l"ocks" the straightened or curled hair into it's new shape.

For "black" hair - A relaxer is used and the chemicals are either lye based (very harsh) or and this is my years of not being in the field anymore, a weaker chemical which is applied to the hair.

The chemicals for the different types of hair are different due to the strength of the bonds which hold the hair in a curled shape.

The best advice is to go to a professional and ask what they think. There are many different options but you would want to go for the least harsh solution to straighten it.

Blow drying curly hair problem?

When i blow dry my curly hair straight, what should i do with the hair i've already blow dried straight, it gets in the way of blow drying new hair sections, pls help. i need help quickly. and tell me how to blow dry the top sections of my hair, because they are very hard to blow dry straight. pls help.

Blow drying curly hair problem?

dont just blow dry it !! i have curly hair too, and when i wanna make it straight, i towle dry straight outa the shower, then use a blow dryer til my hair is completely dry, then i straighten it with a straightening iron. to hold the hair away from stil curly hair, put the litle sections in ponys.

Blow drying curly hair problem?

I don't blow dry straight; it's too much work! I use a straightener. I pin my hair up in sections, then I straighten one section at a time from the bottom up.

Blow drying curly hair problem?

ok part your hair in for sections and us clips or buretts to wholed it out of the way and blow dry each section untill its completly dry and to get it a lil straighter us a flat iron

Blow drying curly hair problem?

braid ur hair into the desired amount of sections and start blow drying from the back its so much easier if this is still a problem then just use straighteners

Blow drying curly hair problem?

i hang my head upside down a blow dry it with a brush.

Blow drying curly hair problem?

I just part my hair down the middle. Blow dry one half and then the other. when it is all done then i flip over and blow dry underneath just in case i miss something. That always works for me. And then i flat iron

Blow drying curly hair problem?

Use a rattail comb to part your hair into manageable sections and put each section up with a covered ponytail holder (no rubber). Start at the bottom and work your way up. If your hair dries slightly before you get to it, wet it again. For the top, use a bristle brush and a small amount of either mousse or styling gel on wet hair. Dry the roots first and work your way to the end while slowly pulling the brush through. Like others have said, you may need to use a straightening iron to make it completely flat. Just be careful to dry your hair before straightening it, or you will literally cook your hair. (That's what the steam is doing...not good.) Good luck to you!!

Blessings

Blow drying curly hair problem?

I have very thick curly hair, I just blow dry it and straighten it with a chi, maybe you should just start straightning it.

Curly Hair Suggestions?

Hi,

Im getting my hair cut again on Friday, Im kinda sick of the same ol' same ol'. I have VERY fine curly hair. Its not kinky curls but tighter than waves, I also have a round face shape. I like more edgy funky hairstyles. Does anyone have any pictures or links to where I might be able to find something?

Thanks!

Curly Hair Suggestions?

make sure your stylist knows how to cut naturally curly hair. They should cut it dry, not pull it tight and cut, and not cut straight across. I have the same kind of hair, I really liked it when it was down past my chin in the front and then shorter in the back, a wedge. It can give you volume. I also lightened the long front strands for an edgier look.

Curly hair, how to make bangs sit right.?

My hair is naturally curly, however when i brush it it kind of brushes the curls out into some thick wavy kind of hair.

I can manage a side frindge quite well, just pinning it back when it's wet then it dries nicely to the side however do you think i could manage a full front frindge?

How would i make it sit right?

Curly hair, how to make bangs sit right.?

straighten it!! just make sure u take extra special care of ur hair when u do start straightening it, the heat can really kill your hair, you can get alright straighteners for around $30-$70, but if u are really commited to having a fringe, buy a GHD, it will set you back around $200 though.

Curly hair, how to make bangs sit right.?

my best friend has been trying to straighten her bangs for 30 years unsuccessfully - best advice is to find a new hair style.

Curly hair &Humidity?

I'm really gonna get angry at it. I've been trying to stop uncurling it by letting in curl, but it's being a hassle now. On humid days, when it is curly, it frizzez. I try to straighten my bangs, but they end up flipping. Plus, they look kinda weird now. Anyways, what am I suppose to do? My hair is 3 inches below my shoulders, but I dont want to leave it all down, because I find it poofs too much. The shortest layers are on the top and they're just below my ear (maybe a few cms longer). It never looks good. And I always have a piece of bang that wants to fall to the middle. Is there any products that will keep soft curls, stay in place, fight against humidity? I also want piecy curls, not little thin pieces of curls everywhere. I pieces of hair to stick together. How can I do that? Kinda like waves.

Curly hair %26amp;Humidity?

my hair is really curly and frizzy. I wash with Garnier Sleek and Shine shampoo and only brush my hair in the shower. i try to wash it a few hours before bed, so it's still damp when i got to bed. Sleeping on my damp hair helps prevent the frizz and poof. Also, after your shower, don't rub your hair dry. Wring it dry with your hands and squeeze with the towel, but don't rub. That will make it poof more.

Curly hair %26amp;Humidity?

infusium

Curly hair %26amp;Humidity?

use fructis shampoo+conditioner+mask anti humid

Hair product for a guy with kinda curly hair?

alright, when my hair doesn't get long, it gets wide. Its really thick and the wider it gets the more curly it gets but when i get a haircut you really can't tell that i have curly hair. My hair is pretty dry too and i want to go for that messy look. Do I need a product that is a cream or wax or whatever?

Hair product for a guy with kinda curly hair?

I recommend that you use Garnier Fructis soft curl cream. It comes in a jar. It costs about 3 something. It controls frizz and dry hair, my curls come out looking wet and nice and not sticky/hard/stiff.

edit: its not really creamy but more wax-ish.

Hair product for a guy with kinda curly hair?

ok. go for a soft curl cream...( from Garnier Fructis or Pantene) and use the shampoo and conditioner for curly hair...also, wash ur hair at night and sleep with it wet so ur hair will be dried curly without being weighed down. :)
