Curly Hair and frizz?

I have very curly hair and side swept bangs. Usually i blow dry my bangs with a round brush and use product in the rest of my hair- But, when i do that, the rest of my head seems to be frizz prone whereas my bangs arent. any suggestions?

Thanks!

-Read the book and visit the site below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent. They dry out curly hair.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. Then spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse. It is also important to use gel on wet hair and scrunch the hair.

- I really like the frizz-ease hair serum and garnier fructis products. Aussie Moist Conditioner works great too, but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the website.

-This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least the website. Good luck!

I have the same hair! Go to the store and look for frizz control or something. Or look for someting else that could help.

Use the same stuff but use a frizz control with it.

don't dry the rest of your hair. keep it skightly wet and then put the product in it to keep your hair from frizzing. let it dry abd don't mess with it.

you should try using a frizz control conditioner, or you could put something over the rest of your hair, like a shower cap.

huh this is a tough one but i think that you should try herbal essences frizz control stuff thats in an orange bottle or sunsilk de- frizz products other wise i really dont no wat to say but i hope this helps

When you blow dry your bangs, keep the rest of your hair pulled back in the towel so that you aren't blowing the hot air onto it. It could also be the product that you are using on your hair that's making it frizzy. Check the ingredients and try not to use anything with alcohol in it. Once you put the product in your hair, keep your hands out of it because when you run your fingers through it, it will make it frizz up also. Don't brush your hair, use a comb instead. Also try a hair gloss or cream because they help control frizz...Hope this helps.

on the rest of your hair use a frizz cream while its damp, or dry. garnier has alot of frizz creams and serums you could try. good luck!

maybe try letting your hair dry naturally, but then use a straightener??

for curly hair you need to use a diffuser with your hair dryer, to eliminate some of the frizz. Also use an anti frizz product.

I also have curly hair and use anti-frizz products. However, I straighten my hair all over with a round brush and hair dryer with a comb attachment. This works well until I get out in the humid weather. Then it starts to frizz up again. The hair shaft absorbs the moisture. Just something we will have to live with I guess, unless you want to use chemicals to straighten your hair. I prefer not to go down that road. A good layered cut will do wonders for curly hair. Layers and feathered around your face. You might want to try that.

Alright well i have very curly hair too. Well you should blow dry your whole head then use a small amout of product then flat iron the rest that is curly. It works for me.
