I have extremely thick brown curly hair, I'm like the only white girl with an afro if I don't maintain it right.LOL Any way my question is do you think it makes a difference if you have curly hair or strait hair depending on how fast it grows and I used to have my hair really short and spike it and now I've been growing it out for a year and it's just a little above my shoulders. How long do you think it will take it to grow a little below my shoulders and I don't want to use any vitamins or chemicals I just want it to grow naturally. Thanks. I hope you can help me?

What about my curly thick hair?
My hair is naturally curly. And it was very puffy, and the curls were tight, so it looked like i had an afro. I even got nicknames beacause of my hair. After awhile my hair started to relax on its own...and less 'afro' like. its still curly...but long.
Right now its taken me going on two years and a little pass my shoulders.
For your hair, it could take longer,or quicker, i don't like getting my hair cut...they always cut too much off...and if it relaxes...or if you maintain it so it doesn't look like an afro.

Your hair grows about 6 inches a year depending on your diet. Naturally fish oils are good for a healthy follicles and hair growth. I would get a flat iron and a shine and protect spray and straighten out your hair...makes it look longer too.
