i have wicked curly black hair. Does anyone know how to straighten it quickly with a blow dryer? Please HELP!! and does anyone know any casual-school appropriate hairstlyes for someone with my hair style?

Hi my name is Candy Girl. I don't have curly hair but my cousin went 2 beauty school. First you get it wet with cold water and mix in a little hair jell. Then you blow dry your hair and its as flat as a pancake.

i also have thick curly hair, and i am just letting you know so you dont waste your time but trying to straighten curly hair with a blowdryer will just burn it and make it frizzy. It does not work good at all.

well, you can use a paddle brush and a blow dryer, I recommend a anti-friz/smoother hair product that contains silicone.

What you need is a perm if is as wicked as you say it is... but most likely it is pretty curly hair make sure you put it under some rollers before you blow dry it and that should help it straighten better. also if you want hair style for curly hair try wetting it and applying gel or moose at the top of your head first by your roots so it dont frizz up. I guarantee it will be straight long curls if u do this. =]

Get a barrel blow dryer with a vent attachment and get a assortment of round coarse bristle hair brushes. Take sections of your hair and seperate them with clips. Take each section and put the blow dryer at your scalp and move to the ends do this with each section while you brush the underside. Continue until you have finished your entire head. It will take awhile but the results are worth it. Also before you do that wash your hair with warm water to make it soft and manageble.

I dont know but you may use a good hair straitener and use "Friezes" hair products. But I bet you have pretty hair already without straitening it. I hope this helps!

put straightening gel in it then blow dry it with a diffuser (not the kind that curls your hair) and then straighten with a flatener/straightener

use frizz-ease when your hair is wet then roughly towel dry and then use a straightening brush and use the hair dryer to dry it.

and to finish use straigtening irons-ghd's or t3 are the best.

The only way your hair will straighten quickly (I mean.. better) is if you blow dry it first with a brush then flat iron your hair will be straighter. And use a serum to help repel moisture so that your hair does not frizz. Also use straightennig cream or heat protectant cream/grease to protect hair from heat while u use the appliances.. if u just want to use a blow drier, well my beautician adds hair wax into my hair..straightens better but it will weigh your hair down, but maybe she uses alot. Just don't use much

hey, i know exactly what youre talking about. My hair is really curly, and its soo frizzy, its a MESS! and it takes FOREVER to straighten (2 hours or more). but then my sister found something that worked, a hair straightener from Conair, the Wet-2-Straight. it is amazing!!! and i can tell you right now, that its completely safe, its made to straighten wet hair, and its digital. that thing can straighten my hair in only 30 minutes OR LESS! you can find it at Target or Walmart, or any place like that. and they only cost around $20, My sister said that this straightener was the cheapest one shes ever gotten, and it works the best! and as for the hair styling, i use hair clips, but i rarely do anything to fancy with it. its usually down, in a clip, or in a ponytail. i also keep it curly most of the time. i just use mouse, or plain hair spray.
