So, do you want to strighten your curls? Here's how:

* Wash and condition hair.

* Blot dry. Hair should be almost dry when you begin.

* Gather up hair into several sections and secure or clip hair on top of your head. You will be drying the bottom layers first.

* Follow the brush (with your dryer) down the sections of hair as you straighten each section and be sure to keep the dryer moving.

* Take down a new section of hair and procede as directed above.

* Work your way up the layers until all sections are dried and straightened.

* To curl the ends for a polished look, take your brush and pull the ends under. Finish your styling with a blast of cool air if your hairdryer has this capability.

Tips:

* Be sure to condition your hair often. Sun, cold temperatures plus the use of your hair dryer can be hard on your hair.

* For best results, use products formulated for your hair type. It does make a difference.

* Give your hair a break and allow it to dry naturally as often as possible.

* Have split ends snipped every six weeks to two months to ensure that they don't travel up the hair shaft.

Do you mean a HOT COMB? if your not black dont do it... I have the same problem don't relax it on your own... and dont use relaxers that says 'SUPER' bcuz thats for REAL BLACK WOOLY HAIR.. I suffered alot of hair comming off from using it thinkin im gonna have japanese hair n sh*t... Use something mild and that have kids faces on it bcuz its no LYE and also... b4 you get your hair relax your probably going to regret it... alot of girls pay 200-$300 just to have their hair curly!! u can do a lot of things with culry hair.. do a wash and set and a deep conditioner every week your hair will be nice and tamed... use the relaxer as your last resort..

if you rly want to have straight hair all the time, jus get one of those straightening perms, if you get a good one it'll last like almost a year. but if not, blowdry it with a round brush while it's still wet - but not dripping wet. and you should seriously go over your hair with a straightener, it gets all the hard-to-reach spots. sry you might hav to get a straightener. good luck!

^Blow it dry after washing it.

Go to your beautician, and chemically straighten your hair. It would stay like that for about 6 months at least though...

Or, go to a Sally's and buy a straightening ION packet, and that's only like, $2 a packet... Its like a shampoo, you put it on damp hair, wait about 5-10 mins and then rise it out in the shower.

I have natural curly hair too. Make sure you have a good cut. Some days I wear it curly, and other days I blow dry it and straighten it with a straightner. With curly hair, you have a lot more options than someone with straight hair. Invest in a good straightener, and you can do whatever you want.
