use gel and scrunch it with your fingers. i have the same thing, and after damage the curl can die. if the gel doesn't work, use a curl cream, and diffuse it.

You need a good hair cut. That will take away the damaged hair which is weighing your hair down. I have curly hair too, and when it gets too long or damanged from hair dyes, I have to get it cut for the curls to spring back to life!

You'll probably find that all the chemicals in the dyes have reacted with the hairspray and mouse creating different effects to what you're used to.

I wouldnt suggest using curlers (because of the amount of damage they do) and if your hair is naturally curly there's not much point. Have you tried any special shampoo's to enhance the curls?

I use John Frieda Frizz Eaze products and they work really well. There's a lot of choice in the collection with some that define the curls which might work for you.

Sounds like you did some drying and damage to your hair, and stripped some of its curl 'identity' from it. I would look for a conditioning treatment for your hair, like Hot Oil. Charles Worthington has some intense treatment conditioners and leave in conditioners that work great on my over-processed curly hair. You can also get intense repair treatments for around $15.00 that take 20-25 minutes at your local salon.
