Curly hair advise?

I've got really curly hair, and it's getting to the point of uncontrollablity. Is there anything you recommend that I can use that isn't extremely expensive to make it look natural and ... less out of control? thanks

I have curly hair too and I keep it shoulder length and use a shine serum every day. Also use a finishing cream when it is dry. This will define the curls and make them less frizzy and more in control

A straightener, or perhaps keep it short and gel it. You can buy some cheap straighteners if you don't care about possibly frizzing or burning your hair. Gel works for most.

There are many products under $10.00 that you can buy to make your hair straighter when you wash your hair.

This is not a permanent solution. You need to use these items every time you wash your hair

Look for conditioners that are for curly hair or solutions that will help straighten or defrizz your hair.

Pureology products are expensive, but u use very little and they last a long time. Super straight balm if you want straight, glossy hair or their curl perfector product is great! To control frizz they offer a shine max glaze and also a pomade pump that I have used occasionally for a few years, it just takes a drop and keeps ur hair where u put it...for $23.95 LOL :)

Keep it ust below your shoulders or right above. Try Aussie Moist shampoo and conditioner. Keeps your hair frizz free and soft.

u can keep it real short or if u like me that likes long hair its alot of work i have to wash it every day i keep the conditioner in brush with a vent brush use hairspray let it air dry mine is in the middle of my back the longer it gets it ways down the curls

What you need to use is an extreme moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. Try to cut back on washing your hair if at all possible. To much washing causes curly hair to dry out faster and then it gets harder to control. If you must blow dry it be sure and use a large round brush and brush from the roots to the ends and use a leave in conditioner.

i have curly hair too so i pretty much now what your going threw...so what you could do is go to the beauty supply store and get a gel that's specially made for curly hair called shine after you get it every time you get out the shower get a little and put some in your hair and put a lot on the end of your hair...also comb it every night before you go to sleep...if this works please write back to me :-)

Try aloe vera mixed in with a small amount of deep conditioner and gel. My daughter and I like Ouidad deep conditioner and climate control gel, but these products are very expensive. Aloe vera is cheap and would work just as well with less expensive products. The trick is not to brush your hair. After applying conditioner in your hair use a wide tooth comb to evenly distribute and let that be the only time you use anything in your hair but your fingers. Do not wrap your hair in a towel or towel dry it. Just blot it with the towel to remove excess moisture. Also you don't want to completely rinse the conditioner out of your hair. Leave about 25% of it in. Good luck, we still fight frizz daily but these tips help.

First, shower. Apply lightweight mousse. Comb/part hair (side looks best on most people). Blow dry with a diffuser. If there are tangles, use a WIDEtooth comb. Have fun!

WELL I HAVE CURLY HAIR TO. THE KEY IS TO KEEP IT MOISTURIZED. YOUR NOT SUPPOSED TO WASH IT EVERY DAY BECAUSE THAT CAUSES FRIZZ AND DRYNESS. TRY COMBING IT IN THE SHOWER AND APPLYING FRIZZ SERUM ON IT. THERE IS ACTUALLY SOME CURLY HAIR PRODUCTS AT THE 99CENT STORE, SOUNDS CRAZY BUT THE ONE I GO TO GETS SALON STUFF SHIPPED THERE AND ITS GOOD STUFF. ONLY A BUCK
