my hair is just around the tops of my shoulders %26amp; a little below. i have naturally curly hair and always straighten it , but now i want something different like i want waves in my hair. ones like this

i've looked at a lot of sites and it tells me to put mousse and crap in it when its wet , well its not gonna work seeing as i have natural curl (i don't realy like my curl, it goes all frizzy and ugly) so im wondering how to acheive this curls with having dry hair? not wet.

im having a dance tomorrow at school and want to wear it like this, thanks guys!

What I do is.

Go out and buy some mousse.

Have you hair damp.

Then put some mousse in the palm of your hand.

Make sure you scrunch your hair.

then put it all the way through out your hair.

From scalp to tips.

Then when you get it all worked into your hair.

But your hair in a bun.

Leave it like this until you think it is dry.

Then take your hair down.

It's really cute.

And it works for me.

Also you might want get some de-frizzer.

And work it in with the mousse.

And it stays like this all day long.

Straigten your hair then put a little mousse in it. Use a hot curler and make big curls. then separate the curls. My hair is naturally curly and thats what I do, although I don't think the hairstyle will last through a dance. It might get flat. Anyways, good luck!

I would go and purchase a 3 Barrel curling iron.They have them at Wal-marts for like $15.Then put some spray gel in your hair and bow dry on low as you are scrunching it.Then use the 3 barrel on the top sections.Take about 1inch of hair and you press it into the 3 barrel.You can do the underneath layers as well if you choose.When you are done spray it and scrunch a little more with hairspray.This works great!

Two methods I would use. You can either straighten the hair and then recurl it using large rollers or finger curling to achieve your effect.

Or when the hair is wet mousse it and then use the big rollers/ %26lt;insert any decent curling method here :D%26gt; to force your hair to dry in softer looser waves.

The only dry way i can see is to straighten first. I have curly hair and its needs to be wet to force major changes without a straightener.

get hair grease @ the store i use dax hair grease or styling waves.

wash your hair and when you come out dry for 10 sec.

put the grease in and brush then put on a doorag or cover your head with something else keep doing that
